This book definately followed Karen Chance's writing - I was excited that I had read the previous series because this book incorporates Tomas. I loved that it had action and a little romance, it was definately wham-bam thank you mame. Easy read for a weeked at 36 pages long. I wish it would have been longer, as I would have loved to see the characters grow more, but all in all was a very good read.

The main character was featured in one of the books so I figured I would read it. It was really short and really could have used a little more background. It would have been better as a developed story. Maybe she will follow up with a book; would like to read more about the adventures of the group.

It was an okay book. Lots of action, but the 2 main characters had sex way too fast, they hadn't even know each other a day. Quick easy read.

The plot had potential, but too little background, bad story flow, and an unwanted and unnecessary sex scene puts the brakes on this story quickly. Read this only if you have nothing else.

I have read 3 of Karen Chances short stories. Although, this was not my favorite of the three it was definitely worth the time especially when it's FREE!

This book was a little too short for me, even though the plot and characters were very interesting. I would have liked a little more. Short enough to read while you're 'waiting" at an appointment ie: doctor's office, to get your hair done etc.

Wasn't very detailed. While the idea of the magic users and a "Jinx" was unique, the plot of the story line was completely uninteresting. And then there's that random part where they have sex so she doesn't kill them, eh...not for me.

I love this story... I am sad that it was so short. I will definately be looking for more stories from this author. I have read 2 e-books by Karen Chance and loved them both!

A good and quick read for a short story where a writer has little time for too many details.
