A TRUE CRIME STORY -AUTHORED BY WAYNE BEYEA

Seasoned Author Wayne E. Beyea, Retired Senior Investigator of the NYSP takes us into the dynamics of this True Crime Story, which occurred in the Catskill Region of New York State. The victim, Trudy Resnick Farber,<BR/>was kidnapped and taken from her husband and family and murdered. Beyea brings to light the details of the shocking events that took place gleaned from those on the front lines of the investigation prior, during and afterwards into the court room proceedings. This is a story that should be read by all concerned citizens as it could happen to anyone of us at anytime, especially in a society, where civility is in the state of decay. Mr. Beyea, thank you for bringing us this outstanding factual account.

Good story, but the courtroom "scene" went on forever.

Good story, but the courtroom &quot;scene&quot; went on forever. I did not want to hear every question repeated over and over by every witness. Skipped about 50 pages, and still it dragged on and on.

    I highly recommend this book!

A very sad book about the horrible murder of a young wife by a very jealous and unstable friend of the family.

To read or not to read?

I have read about half of this book and I don't think I can finish it. The trial portion of the book is so difficult to read. The man on trial for murder is schizophrenic and repeats questions he is asked, often not even answering them coherently. Was the court system so different in the seventies? My advice would be not to waste your money on this book.

    Don't waste your money.

Unlikeable characters, probably because they are based on real people.
Calling it boring is putting it nicely.

    Terrible

Flowery prose, like something out of the 1800's.
