Overview

The Art of Reading Minds has everything you need to know in order to become an expert at mind reading. Using skills such as non-verbal communication, body language and psychological influence, we can find out what another person thinks and feels – and consequently control that person’s thoughts and beliefs any way we want.

Henrik Fexeus introduces a new kind of practical interpretation of the concept mind-reading, which you will find practical in all aspects of your everyday life: job interviews, on a first date, suggesting proposals to your boss and in all social situations where you want to get your ideas across and influence other people.

Posture, intonation, pace, glances and hand gestures all reveal what a person feels. Often it will be in direct conflict with the message they are expressing in words. Henrik Fexeus gives you the right tools to decipher these hidden messages.

After his academic education in philosophy, Henrik Fexeus rapidly became a communications specialist. Fexeus is now an appreciate performer of edutainment. He has brought a whole new meaning to the expression mind reading and reveals skills in nonverbal communication, body language, psychological manipulation and psychological influence. He is currently touring with his mind reading show and has been hosting his own TV-show at Sweden’s largest broadcaster.

    Good story, fast read

This is the first book I have read by this author. The chapters were short, so it held your interest through the twist and turns of the story. I would like to read more from this author.

I am still reading this book. The Nordic mysteries I have read so far seem to favor blending multiple story lines involving people that connect to each other in some way in the stories. I find this kind of story telling to be tedious at times and wondering where the author is trying to take me. At the same time it is a different way of writing a mystery which creates a larger story of events and interactions of people in a specific geographic area. In general - this style of writing is for a patient reader that does not require a feeling of "sitting on the edge of your seat" and is not in a hurry to get to the end of the story.

    Rather slow and uneventful

I am generally rather fond of Nordic mysteries, but I found this work fell short. Lacking both action and mystery, it did not appeal to me as either a police procedural or as a mystery. The side story concerning the journalist was nothing but an annoying distraction, as it did little to advance the story. Doubtful that I would bother with another by this author.

    Dead of summer

This book held my interest. I was surprised by the end. I didn't catch any hint of what one of the characters past was, so the writer gave me the impression that she was rushing the end.

Great Summer Read With A Twist

Loved the story line, until the Epilogue, which begged for a whole new book!
