First off I just want to say that this is really my first go at reviewing an erotic book. Yes, I have read some. Yes, I have liked most of them. Yet, it has been outside my comfort zone to review them. I am pushing this boundary, as I truly love so many of the erotic authors. They seem to speak my language and in order to support them I decided I just need to DO IT. (review that is) So here it goes!
The Deadly Stripper is a novella focused on Celee. Celee is not quite a vampire and not quite human. She must feed off vampires and is pretty much a vampire with a beating heart. I felt the basis of this story was good one and I do understand that world building and character development is extremely challenging in a novella. Diane Thorne did a good job in regards to character development. I felt that I had a pretty clear idea of what made Celee tick and understood the relationships that existed in The Deadly Stripper. Lots of sex was covered in the book and it was surely hot. I did feel like there was not much of a division between the two main men in the story. This was a downside to me. The Deadly Stripper did leave me wanting to know more about the world and characters.
I received this book directly from the author in exchange for an honest review and received NO compensation.

Celee is kick ass. I love her character.
This is such a unique book. Erotica now spans wide sub-genres but never have I read about a half vampire stripper that has a penchant to killing. Fast paced and action packed.
I really liked Greger too. He is a wild card and still a little bit of a mystery man.
I am interested to see where this series goes, with un-settled relationships and souls in the balance it can only lead to more good books with some hot under the sheets action :)

Demons, Vamps, and uhhmmm Strippers? Oh My! Celee is one tough chick. What's a girl who's bartered her soul have to look forward too? She's made some bad decisions in the past but is doing the best she can. One uber hot vamp turns up at her door and things start changing for Celee. Not to mention her sexy as hell Rocker, on-again, off-again, play mate Jay who wants their relationship to move to the next level. Maybe a bad girl can turn good with a little sexy help along the way :) Ms. Thorne has created a dark world that exists along side our own. This is not a fluffy little paranormal romance. If your looking for a gritty, urban fantasy with some really scorching sex scenes this book is for you. This is the first in the series: Sexy and Damned. I'm looking forward to the next. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
