Meet the Author

Sujata Massey is author of the Rei Shimura mysteries, ten novels featuring a young female Japanese-American sleuth in modern Tokyo. The books have won the Agatha and Macavity awards and were nominees for the Edgar, Anthony and Mary Higgins Clark awards. Sujata is a former newspaper journalist and English teacher in Japan who currently lives with her family in Minneapolis.
