Meet the Author

Andrea Pickens created her first book at the age of five—a neatly penciled story about cowboys—however she has since moved on from Westerns to writing about Regency England, a time and place that has captured her imagination ever since she opened the covers of Pride and Prejudice.

So you will forgive me if i find it objectionable when the main character puts his female counterpart over his knee and spanks her. AND THEN SHE APOLOGIZES TO HIM. It is one thing to accept one's mistake and another to accept oneself of being deserving of such indignity. I cannot read further. Hence, I cannot recommend.

I enjoyed this story very much. Clean romance nice story line. Could have used some better proofing towards the middle- end. Kept my interest nonetheless.

Fun regency read. Interesting characters, strong female; mysterious, honorable male. A lovely distraction if regency romance is your thing.

Not bad. Cute. A little predictable. Lots of bad editing.

I found this book to be a good, clean read. I did not appreciate the male character spanking the female character, not a good recommendation for a man to put his hands on any woman. Other than that, it was a nice read.

A great read! I laughed so hard because of the antics and banter between the heroine and hero

My favorite part was jane getting a spanking that was so funny. I think this is a Jane Eyre sort of tale but with a twist. I read it in one sitting and I recommend it.

Honestly, the author stole a bit from Jane Eyre. Mrs. Fairchild instead of Fairfax, the meeting of her employer (almost being run down by his horse)...and other bits. Short, but okay, considering the plagarism.

A very nice read. Although the ending was rapped a little quickly.

Loved the plot line and charachers. But some places the author could have developed a bit further. Especially the ending. It was as if sge got tired and just wanted to inish it.
