I like Julie Kenner's soccer mom demon hunter series, but this short story related to the series. is 2nd rate, with an emphasis on short; the book is only 22 pages, and a good 1/3 of it is background info that readers of the series are already fimiliar.  .99 for 22 pages is ridiculous; this should be a freebiefor fans.

Great short story. The only disappointment is that it is just that a short story.

Time after time Julie Kenner sucks me into her finely crafted world and reunites me with my old friends. This is a short story but it does not dissapoint. I highly recomend reading not just this story but the whole series. I am on pins and needles waiting for the next one!

The Demon You Know is a short story within the world of demon hunting soccer mom Kate Connor and her daughter Allie. If you haven't read this series, think if Buffy had kids and lived in suburbia and you get an idea of Kate's world. This story was far too short for me. I love the series so much I don't think I can ever get enough of it. But just like the books, the story is masterfully crafted and a whirlwind of action from the beginning to the end. Julie Kenner earns those 5 stars--again. Trust me, if you are a fan of this genre and have not read anything by Julie Kenner, then you are missing the boat!

thoroughly enjoyed the short story - I wish it had been longer but ..... Well written, it maintains the integrity of each character that was developed through out her series.
