All Music Guide - Heather Phares
The soundtrack to The Devil Wears Prada captures the agony and the ecstasy of being a fashionista, with introspective tracks and fabulous runway anthems, including the queen of them all, Madonna's "Vogue." Bitter:Sweet's "Bittersweet Faith," Mocean Worker's "Tres Tres Chic," DJ Colette's "Feelin' Hypnotized (Black Liquid Remix)," and David Morales and Tamra Keenan's "Here I Am (Kaskade Radio Edit)" have a similar sashay to their step. Meanwhile, Azure Ray's delicate "Sleep," Jamiroquai's "Seven Days in Sunny June," and U2's soaring, romantic "City of Blinding Lights" all manage to be bittersweet and chic at the same time. Theodore Shapiro's "Suite from The Devil Wears Prada" reflects the glamorous hustle-bustle and soul-searching moments of the film in its mix of symphonic, rock, and electronic arrangements. As far as fashion movie soundtracks go, it's not quite on par with Pret-A-Porter, Unzipped, or Funny Face, but The Devil Wears Prada is still pretty stylish.

    definately recommended

the movie was outstanding ! I went to see it 3 times !!!!!! and then went right out and bought the soundtrack ! I was REALLY disappointed to find that the opening song to what is now my favorite movie was NOT on there ! BITTERLY disappointed . I had to do some serious shopping around to find what artist claimed that song " Suddenly I see " That's an awesome song!!!!!!! One of my favorites from the movie!

    Umm... did we forget

This is a great album... to a great movie... but I feel as though something is missing. Oh yeah KT Tunstall's "Suddenly I See" seeing that it was the opening song and all! Otherwise very good!

    Another Forgotten Song

Right after I saw the movie I rushed to get the soundtrack, sadly finding to see that "Dream A Little Dream of Me" (French version) was not included in the soundtrack. This song certainly created a great mood for the scene in France. However, I truly enjoyed the Devil Wears Prada so much, I went to see it at the Movie Theatres three times. I will definetly be buying the DVD once it comes out. Both Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway gave great performances!

Great Soundtrack to a Great Movie

I love both the movie and soundtrack so much! The music fits with every mood presented in each scene, and it's good music in general. I highly recommend this soundtrack. I especially liked Tres, Tres Chic. I am definitely going to buy both the movie and the soundtrack when they're available!
