Simon and Elizabeth return in book #4 of the Out of Time series.

Simon and Elizabeth's plans for their honeymoon are interrupted when they discover a list of unfinished business hidden in Simon’s grandfather’s journal. Picking up where Grandfather Sebastian left off, Simon and Elizabeth, along with Jack Wells, travel to glamorous 1933 Hollywood to save the life of movie star Alan Grant. But the Golden Age of Hollywood is more than parties and premieres. Behind the bright lights and bigger-than-life contracts, shadows lurk and no one is what they seem. It's a place where people will do anything for fame and fortune. And if Simon and Elizabeth fail, more than a man's life might be lost.

The Devil's Due, by Monique Martin

This was a good book. All of this series are on time travel. The book keeps you on the edge of your seat. I feel like I'm on the adventure with the characters in the book. I just complete one book and get the next. I would highly recommend her books to anyone who likes mystery and intrigue.

Of the 4 books in the series that I've read so far, I liked this

Of the 4 books in the series that I've read so far, I liked this one (#4) the least. But not because it is a bad story, because it's not. It just dragged a bit for me, and I do get tired of sappy romance after awhile. I enjoy the series very much and will continue reading it, and will continue to hope that Simon will stop being so overbearing, and Elizabeth matures a bit.

Enjoyable read. I love time travel books going back in time best

    Enjoyable read.
I love time travel books going back in time best.
Monique Martin takes you back in time with a wonderful couple who try to help people in the past
without effecting the time line. There's mystery, suspense and romance.
It all fits in well and the ending always keeps you holding your breath.
I just finished book 3 and looking forward to the next place in time in book 4.

    Doctor Who much?

An adorable couple (like the Doctor and Rose), time travel, a fob watch (in out of time #1), and a companion named Jack that came from a world war? OO-EE-OOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Wonderful Read - This Author Always Seems to Deliver

I discovered this series by accident, but now I am hooked. I was seeking another writer who wrote historical fiction like Arianna Franklin, and Monique Martin is in a class all by herself. I recommend her "Out of Time" series wholeheartedly. You will enjoy it and become a dedicated fan like me.

Not really sure how I feel abou this

I am really conflicted about this series. I dislike the main characters, particularly the dimbo bimbo Elizabeth, who will apparently NEVER grow up and get a clue. I also detest sappy ronance, which this defenitely is.

However, the period details are excellent, the writing is skillful, and the mysteries entertaining. If you read them over a bit of time (not immediately one after the other, as I foolishly did), the good may outweigh the bad for you.

    Fantastic fantasy series!

I just finished this 4 th book in the series and can't wait for more. Simon and Elizabeth have a love that spans the ages. Their time travels have me on the edge of my seat and reading until 3 A.M. to know the outcome.
PLEASE write more stories for them!
