Overview

The Disinhibition Effect is the story of three best friends who have never actually met. It examines the often unsavory world of internet relationships, and considers the question of what happens when cyber confidants take over your life.

Mike in Canada, Ben in England, and Scott in the United States don't seem, at first blush, to have much in common. But as their casual, social network acquaintance grows, their hold on each other develops. The results are both hilarious and terrifying.

The Disinhibition Effect was originally staged at the 2011 Victoria Fringe Festival in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
