Amby Burfoot has been an editor at Runner's World Magazine for more than 30 years, currently serving as Editor At Large. He has written thousands of magazine articles and blog posts, and a handful of hard-copy books. Burfoot is also the 1968 winner of the Boston Marathon, and a 49-times-in-a-row (and still going strong) finisher of the Manchester (Conn.) Road Race on Thanksgiving Day.
