Overview

From USA TODAY Bestselling Author Julie A. Richman a new, stand alone Second Chance Romance

~ Sometimes, one degree is all that separates you from the one you were meant to be with

Wes Bergman was sex on a stick.

We'd been circling one another our entire lives, mingling at the same clubs... attending the same events...sharing mutual acquaintances...yet we'd never actually met.

Until...we both boarded a Windjammer Cruise in the Caribbean. And it was like meeting my long, lost best friend for the first time. I hadn't ever connected with a guy that way before.

But Wes had a girlfriend. So, when the week was over, he walked off the ship, unknowingly taking a piece of my heart with him.

Now, over a decade later, newly divorced, I'm the proverbial fish out of water. Dating has totally changed. Apps. Swipe left. Swipe right. Catfishing. Men my age want two things: twenty-five-year-olds-like my ex's new child bride of a wife-or just a quick hook-up.

After a string of bad dates, I finally did something I never thought I'd do. I had a hot one-night stand with a really handsome guy I met online who didn't even know my real name.

Turned out Mr. Fling is a big shot for my company's newest client. And just my luck, that client's CEO is none other than...Wes Bergman.

Now I'm separated by one degree again from the man who stole my heart.

And Mr. Fling could destroy my chance of what I want most - a Do-Over with Wes

Meet the Author

A native New Yorker living deep in the heart of Texas, Julie can remember writing her first "early romances" at age 5 or 6, and then hiding the pages, so that no one would find them.

In college, where her focus was creative writing, she was forced to share her work, much to the chagrin of her male classmates, who were then obligated to read and critique romance on a weekly basis.

Post-graduation, Julie started writing another kind of fiction pursuing a corporate career that entailed copywriting, creating marketing materials and writing ads for Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations.

An avid nature photographer with insatiable wanderlust, Julie prefers traveling backroads and blue highways in search of finding picturesque treasures and roadside cafés.

Known for detailed writing that makes readers feel like they are right there in the scene, her love of learning can be witnessed by the amount of research Julie does for her books.

A lover of animals and anything space-related, Julie is a self-proclaimed map geek, uber-serious Bruce Springsteen fan and a dedicated foodie.

This is a book I will be recommending to friends in the days and weeks to come! Tara and Wes are just two regular, yet amazing individuals destined to meet and love. The magic is in the range of these characters...in their integrity...in the depth of their dedication to their friends and family...in the strength of their convictions. Circumstances may step in the way, but fate will always find a chance to have a do-over.

The Do-Over by Julie A. Richman is a standalone second-chance romance. It is an absolutely wonderful romance - Wes and Tara... I couldn't get enough. Add in the healing and positive theme of breast cancer awareness and handling the emotional ups and downs that go with being diagnosed/knowing someone who has been diagnosed this book was one of my faves so far this year. Wes and Tara first meet on board a small week-long cruise and truly had a soulmate moment when they sat talking through the night like they'd known each other all their lives. He was attached, however, and his sister wanted him to herself for the duration of the cruise. Fats forward a few years and their lives have changed DRASTICALLY. They have never run into each other even though they still seem to have been at one degree of separation from each other. When their lives finally collide again it is mind-blowing. Enjoy!
