My dietician gave me this book and it is the best resource. If you are serious about losing weight the healthy way, counting calories and fat in the beginning is crucial. See a dietician or doctor to find out how many calories you should be consuming per day. People don't like to admit this but it's true. Science and facts don't lie, and the truth is that it takes 3,500 calories to burn to lose one pound. That is eating 500 less calories a day. Want to lose another pound? Add exercise. Sorry but that is another truth, too. I wouldn't lose more than 2 lbs per week or you might get that ugly sagging skin that is only reversable by surgery! I have lost 12 lbs so far and I never felt so great! You can do it, just take it slow and believe in yourself!

This book is absolutely the best all around calorie counter on the market. Not only does it give you calorie counts, but it also doubles as a fat and carbohydrate counter as well. Thorough, complete, and well laid out, I give it five stars easy.
