Great overview of doctrinal differences, and the rationales for certain practices.  I really liked that Dr. Lutzer explained the historical context for denominational differences.  Even though he is an evangelical pastor, I did not feel he "pushed" a viewpoint and gave every position a fair treatment.  Highly recommended for every Christian, or anyone wanting to understand Christian differences.

    Terrible Condition

Purchased the book for a class and went to read my assigned reading for the week (ch. 8) only to find that the entire chapter had been CUT OUT of my book. The seller neglected to tell me this. I expected the book to look worn, but I did not expect missing content. Terrible seller.
