Library JournalThis specialty dolls' house is actually a miniature shop, a three-story bridal salon called "Pumpkins and Butterflies." Following a section of step-by-step instructions for building and furnishing the salon, Johnson, a professional designer and dressmaker, turns her attention to the brides' dresses and accessories. These are exquisite creations, and the projects are full of tips for realistic draping and shaping to fit a six-inch doll. A section of full-size patterns and templates is given. Any of these dolls would be collector's items, making this an excellent selection for public libraries.
