What People are saying about this

Eric Simpson
As a consultant for the Center for the Study of Work Teams, I've used copies of the first edition with some of the organizations I've worked with. In one instance, as we took teams through the training/redesign process, we gave a copy of the book to each of the teams' managers. We received very good feedback from the managers on the practical advice and readability of the book. It's hard to find applicable material that you can give to middle managers and actually have them read it and find it useful, but this has fit the bill.
