Jerome Tuccille is the author of more than thirty books, including biographies of major business and literary figures. His last book, Hemingway and Gellhorn, was the subject of an HBO special in 2012, and Tuccille's book was a gold medal winner, voted best e-book biography of 2011 by independent publisher WinklerMedia Publishing Group. His previous biography, Gallo Be Thy Name (Phoenix Books, 2009), about the Gallo wine family, was selected best book of 2009 by Reason magazine, and it was named one of the best business books of 2009 by the University of California Library System. Tuccille's biography of Donald Trump (Trump, Donald I. Fine, 1985; Berkley/Penguin, 1988) was a New York Times best-seller, and his biography of the Hunts of Texas (Kingdom, Greenhill Books, 1884; Paperjacks, 1988) was a regional best-seller. The author has also written biographies of Rupert Murdoch, Alan Greenspan, Barry Diller, and others, as well as several novels.
The author is vice president/communications at T. Rowe Price, the financial services firm. He previously taught at the New School for Social Research in New York City and is a former third-party candidate for Governor of New York. He is a member of Authors Guild and American Society of Journalists and Authors.
