Overview

The Dracons' Woman is a full length 110,000 word novel.

One day Lariah Daniels is a beautiful but shy historical librarian on Earth. The next, she is fleeing across the galaxy from a sadistic crime lord who will stop at nothing to hunt her down and torture her for information about her sister, a psychic undercover agent for a shadowy intelligence organization. Lariah selects as her safe haven the distant, pastoral world of Jasan, known for its peaceful, rural setting, and the practice of its shifter inhabitants of mating three of their men to one human woman.

Upon arriving on Jasan, Lariah learns that all is not as it seems. In the company of three incredibly gorgeous brothers she finds herself caught up in a world of danger, interstellar intrigue, and otherworldly desire and it is revealed to her that she may be the fulfillment of a mysterious prophesy, and the key to the survival of the Jasani race. Lariah must choose between preserving her identity as a human being or following a dangerous path that may lead to her true destiny: being soul-linked to the Royal Princes of Jasan, and finding eternal love that reaches across the stars.

The Dracons' Woman is a thrilling, fast-paced fantasy of love, desire, and galactic adventure that will have your heart pounding and your blood racing.

    Highly Recommended

I read this book expecting the typical girl meets lots of hunky guys and hot stuff happens. The End. Wow did I ever get a lot more than I expected and it was all good! Great love story, wonderful characters that you really care abuot, and mystery, intrique, danger, and some good climatic scenes. In all senses of the word. Ha! I like this writer. She is easy to understand, and there is a good flow to the entire book. I tried the sample and was hooked. I'm giving it five stars cause I can't think of a good reason not to. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

    Must read!

I thought this would be another short but hot book. it was hot, but it wasn't short. loved the characters and story. Touching and romantic and sometimes very funny and oh boy Hot Hot Hot! I asked my husband to read one scene (a very hot one!) and he actually got caught up in the story and read the whole thing and he usually only reads westerns. He said he liked the hot parts but also rally got into the characters and story. We are both looking forward to book two in this series. I'm giving 4 stars cause I am sometimes disappointed in the second book after loving the first so if the second one is as good I will give it five.

    Great

One of the many things I enjoyed about this book was its length. The story was allowed to fully bloom and so didn't have that abrupt ending so many of the books today have. I got to savor the story and didn't feel cheated at all when the book was finished. Also, I thought the erotica was tastefully done, it worked with the story and didn't overpower the plot. It was just right. Great job, Ms. Phillips! I'm very much looking forward to your next one.

    Fantastical Voyage

I stumbled upon this book quite by accident. After reading it, however, I willseek out and read every other book Laura Jo Phillips writes!!!
The characters and story line flow very well, I was sad to reach the end. Only to find out it wasnt the end!
Depth of character, HOT HOT HOT 3 guys 1 woman fantasy roles, romance... it's all here.

    Hug

Sorry this was just to hard a book to even get through let alone complete. It is just to far out and the writing was juvenile.. My fault, I should have read that it was a teens book. It was wan't it? I wouldn't waste my time reading so no I do not recommend this book.

    Loved it

I was really reluctant to start this book because I'm a cover snob, I don't like the look of the cover, but after searches on amazon(book searches on the nook is ridiculous) I decided to try the first book in the series and I loved and before I knew I bought all the books to read and left wanting more. So don't be a cover snob like me and give a book a chance. And I know that not all books with good covers are great books.

    Laura Jo Phillips

This is the first of Ms Phillips books that I have read and I must say that I throughly enjoyed it. In fact, book 2 has just been bought. Her characters are likable and her "world" is explained well. It has some quite erotic parts that some people may not like, but they should know what erotic means and read Harlequins instead! Like I said, a good read with loving partners, nasty bad guys, a big dog and a cast of characters that you wouldn't mind knowing in real life.

    Shifters!

I am always on the lookout for stories where the male love interest is a shifter. This book is a little different in that it is also a scifi which is a long beloved genre. I think the author is onto something here with this premise. I found the Dracon brothers sweet and likeable. I liked the sex scenes also, but thought they could use a little more heat. After all the males hadn't had sex in a hundred years! This isn't one of those books with all sex and no plot, either. It had a wonderfully concluded mystery. I recommend this series to anyone that likes shifters, scifi and romance.

    Great read!!

Can't wait to read rest of series! It is kind of fantasy/sci romance.
The main characters were wonderful to read about, but there is a
m/f/m/m theme here too. So if you like that kind of story, you will enjoy it. It was tastfully done, and some twist and turns too.

    Great read

I enjoyed this book and will put it on my re-read list. The language is a stiff at times, but the overall interactions of the characters is heartwarming.

    Awesome!

Wow! Lots of good hotness with great (hot!) men. But its also a great story. One thing I like is that even though it is a series (author even gives you the first chapter of book 2 at the end) there is no cheating here. The book is wrapped up nicely at the end with no cliff-hangers in an effort to force you to buy the next one to find out the result of action in the first one. I always feel like I'm getting ripped off when that happens. I want to read the next one because I liked the first one and that is important to me anyway. Good book, well written and no sloppy editing either. Words are all spelled correctly and it has punctuation where it is supposed to be. Maybe that sounds picky but I hate getting kicked out of a story by sloppy editing. I hope the next one is as good! this one gets all the stars!
