People blog for all sorts of reasons, all of which are significant and valid to that individual. For me, it evolved quickly from a test site for fictional writing into a safe haven for my own ideology and belief system where I was free to express myself about any topic that I saw fit. The therapeutic value of this kind of expression became evident when through comments from fellow bloggers, I realized that other people felt the same way I did about many topics that involved our modern day society. In some cases, I stood alone in my ideas, but even in those situations, hearing ideas contrary to my own if nothing else was an enlightening experience.

This book is a collection of some of my blog posts...my attempt to contribute to this concept of cooperative growing and learning. I share my ideas and thoughts hoping that yoĂșll learn from me or learn from yourself through reacting to my words. You will find some proof within these pages that you and I most assuredly have something in common.

    A Very Enjoyable read

This was like talking to your favorite relative about life, love, and just making it in this world of ours.I truely enjoyed the authors insights and opinions. It did not matter whether I agreed or not, because they were so thoughtfully expressed.I especially enjoyed when he talked about his family.Whether good or bad , love was always mentioned. It made me want to call my little brother and apologize for a few things.

Hmmmm....Didn't think about it like that......

I couldn't think of a better title. The author captured life's 'simple' topics and bared his soul. Some of the author's perspectives I too shared and others I was truly enlightened. After each chapter, you can't help but reflect on your own personal views on the topic. Happy reading...

    Good Conversation Starter

Simple Complexities is a compilation of blog posts that cover a range of topics 'love, death, work, religion, etc.'. The book was an easy read 'i.e. it reads like conversation between the author and the reader.' And, I found myself unable to put the book down until I was finished. Although I didn't agree with all of the author's views, I found many of the posts to be thought-provoking, genuine and witty. I've used many of the topics to generate conversations with friends and close family members. I would recommend this book to anyone who's interested in a quick, quality read that will promote a host of good debates within any social setting.

    Nothing Simple Here

Simple Complexities is one of those books that make you say 'I can't believe he said that!' and in the next breath makes you say 'I was just thinking that!' You go back and forth as your argue with the Dragon's forward point of view. With every blog we are allowed a little deeper into the lair of his thoughts to finally emerge with the realization that there's nothing 'Simple' about him whatsoever. This is a wonderful conversation piece and an entertaining read. You will laugh and if you can 'relate', you will cry as you finally come to the conclusion that regardless of what you feel it's all a matter of opinion. Whether it's The Dragon's or Your Own!

This book was full of thoughtful opinions and ideas, written in a very digestible and entertaining way. It certainly is a good conversation starter, or it may just encourage you to check in with yourself about your own beliefs.

    You feel me?.....??....

Simple Complexities puts you in a state of actual conversation through blog entries. Through 'listening' to his conversations, I am able to relate to alot of the scenarios that take place. You know it's a good book when you read and feel as if you're having a discussion with the author in a zone, chillin out, freeing your mind.

    Awesome!

I just purchased 'Simple Complexities' and I haven't been able to put it down. I've read several of the entries more than once. The author is an amazing writer, taking the simple everyday acts of daily life and turning them into heartfelt stories of triumph, sadness or silliness, but always thought provoking. I would highly recommend this to anyone and have purchased some for my friends and family to enjoy.

    A reviewer

Being of a certain age and not too saavy with technology I was curious about blogging. Preyor's book makes it possible for computer shy boomer's to experience the ride on the information highway from the side of the road...you will look forward to every stop along the adventurous road of The Dragon 050376 presents...Simple Complexities.
