Jim and Angie are back, with the friends and enemies they made in the first book in this funny series. Jim is abruptly turned into a dragon once again, and learns more magic to try to control the situation better. Author Gordon R. Dickson had his tongue in his cheek while he wrote this series, you will snicker and snort and laugh all the way through, and be unable to put the stories down easily. I especially like the high value on friendship, hospitality, and their concomittant responsibilities throughout the stories. I really enjoyed the first 4 in this series, and the others aren't bad either, but not as fresh as these. Start with The Dragon and The George, then read The Dragon Knight, The Dragon on the Border, and The Dragon at War, and carry on with 6 more titles. The author died, or I am sure he'd still be cranking them out!
