A former Knight Templar, exiled because he couldn't sink into a savage killing machine, Ciaran Tamberane drags a half-dead young woman, Amaranth, back to his castle. She's really running to escape a brutal husband just as Ciaran is running from facing the rest of his life. But who saves whom? Once again, Marsha Canham delivers on what she is deft at: weaving one fine cloth of a story. Of particular note is the character of Marak, Ciaran's friend. THE DRAGON TREE is a quick read, but only because the story is compelling and the action genuinely edge-of-the-chair.

Love the way Canham weaves a tale.

This is the 4th book I have read by Ms Canham. The story does not lag and the historical references are informative.
