My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!! ***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! The cover is definitely steamy and awesome! This is the 4th book in the Lochguard series which is a spin off series and really tied to the Stonefire series. I recommend reading all of the books in the order they were written, so you don’t miss anything awesome! This is for adults only due to the steamy content. I really love Jessie’s writing. She always has the perfect blend to keep you entranced while reading. My life is the only thing that gets in the way of reading it straight through to the end. This is Faye and Grant’s story! I really love Faye’s feisty dragon. Of course, I really love that I get to see all of my favorite characters working together. Ara has her babies! So much to entertain you! I absolutely loved it! I highly recommend all of Jessie’s dragon shifter series to any and all shifter lovers! I can’t wait to see what comes next!!

Finally! Grant & Faye’s story. I’ve quite enjoyed these two throughout the series and I loved finally seeing them come together. The twists and turns in their relationships kept me on my toes while the rest of the story was even more compelling. This was a fantastic tale that had me wrapped up in it from cover to cover. This novel is a bit slower in pace than most of Donovan’s dragon stories but it is also much more personal of a story. That said, Donovan brings action to life, both in the bedroom and out of it. This novel sizzles with the chemistry between the main characters while also drawing readers deep into the fast paced danger that the characters find themselves in. What really sets this novel apart is the fantastic world building and character development that this author puts forward. Everything comes to life in such a vivid manner that you feel as if you’re really there. Donovan’s very well developed world and characters does build on the development from previous novels so I would suggest reading them in order. Yet again Donovan has created a one of a kind tale that readers will love from cover to cover. I’d highly recommend it to others.

This story is about Faye, Grant, and the birth of Arabella and Finn's 3 babies! In past stories Faye was the head protector until she was hurt. Grant grew up with Faye, after she was hurt he helped her with her therapy to start her healing, and he took over as head protector of the clan. During that time and in this book they are comming to terms with the fact that they are mates. With that going on thier enemies are still making trouble. They have thier hands full. While all this is going on Arabella and Fin has thier babies! I love the characters in this book and the whole series! We even get cameos from past characters in the series. Thier so much fun. The action is great, the mystery is fantastic and I just love the interaction of the characters thier just so much fun! I couldn't put the book down and I can't wait until the next one. Shifter fans don't miss this story. It's fantastic Voluntary reviewed and I honestly loved it.

You know what I've always loved about these dragons, the way the talk to their humans, but this is the bomb! Faye MacKenzie and Grant McFarland have known each other from childhood they were always teasing each other then, they were in Afghanistan together and Grant shot down her femininity, and to top it off after she was shot down by the Knights and injured her wing, he got her job as Head Protector of Clan Lochguard. What could they have in common, how about the attraction that has been growing between them? How about the fact that they are true mates? Grants' Dragon is all in with starting the mating frenzy, but the rational human thinks they should wait till the threat to the clan is contained. Faye is all in with kissing their mate, but her dragon thinks Grant still has to prove himself, before she will even consider him as their mate. When Grant proves himself to Faye's dragon and they finally get the chance to kiss and be together, her dragon decides that his dragon has to prove if he is more dominant then she is and their mating frenzy will go down in history, as these 2 dragons fight for dominance. Which one will wind up on top? I absolutely loved it! Arabella finally has her triplets, what a relief and a joy 2 boys and a girl, Finn is strutting like a peacock when he gets a break from diaper duty. I'll never tire of reading about these dragons, it is such a joy! Suspense, action, intrigue and a passion that really rocks you, but especially the dragons are so wild!

Delaying the inevitable Grant McFarland is the current Head Protector to the Lochguard Clan, the job that use to belong to Faye MacKenzie before she got injured. But with time and care, Grant helped Faye to get back out there. Flying and strengthen herself. That is until one day he seemed to stop and start to avoid her. Faye is tired of not having a job or purpose and confronts Grant. Up until last year, Grant never would have hesitated to give Faye an assignment that could put her in danger. But that all changed the day she was cleaning one of his wounds and he thought about kissing her. With half his family being traitors he wants to keep his distance from her, to protect her. The two of them are put together on an assignment in conjunction with the DDA in an outreach program to showcase Dragon shifter art. With the thought that Art can transcend cultures. Both Grant and Faye have come to the conclusion that there is something between the two but they can’t act on it in case it causes a frenzy. And being in the public on assignment is not the time or place. Danger is always lurking right around the corner. Well written self-contained story that’s also part of a series of books. High praises for this action packed book with lots of adventure and romance.
