I own a paperback copy of this title that is over 30 years old. First read it when I was in high school & have reread it many times since. It has a lot to say about not fitting in, what love is and keeping an open mind. This book should appeal to anyone who likes fantasy, a satisfying love story (not just romantic love either)or evocative writing. I am glad to see it is still in print. I may just buy the hardcover for myself as an early Christmas present. I wish someone would make this into a movie. It would be tough to cast, but not impossible. Steven Spielberg, are you listening???
