Meet the Author

Cathy Yardley needs to get out more. When not writing, she is probably cruising the Internet, sleeping or watching D-list movies and adding to her unnatural mental store of character-actor trivia. She can hum along with all the theme songs on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" and is learning Japanese from anime. She considers Daria a positive role model. Her family is considering performing an intervention for her addiction to pop culture.

    Great read

This was a great read. The lead couple had terrific chemistry and i liked that the heroine wasn't clingy like most. And the hero was yummy which is always a plus. There were a couple times i would've liked to smack him, but every story needs conflict. Worth reading for sure. ##

    sexy fun :)

I thought this book was fantastic. I was beginning to wonder if anyone could come up with something really fresh. And this author does. One of the other reviewers warns that Angela takes sex too lightly but I'm thinking, you're reading a BLAZE, silly. It's the sexiest H/S there is, not to mention, if you want to read books where people only have sex after they're married, go read one of those lines where people are barely having any. If you like to read sexy stories that don't hold back on the steam but also portray people with real issues surrounding sex (I did agree with the part in the above review about loving the gender-bender aspect), you'll love this book.

    amusing torrid relationship drama

In Manzanita, California, librarian Angela Snowe decides she no longer wants to be as pure as her surname. She decides to change her lifestyle from staid and boring virgin to fast lane local jet setter. Based on his reputation with the women, she chooses business magnate Josh Montgomery to teach her the joy of sex through a one-night stand.
However, Josh wants more from the woman who vanished from his bed in the morning after an evening of ecstasy like none he ever had before. Once he locates Angela, Josh needs to pour on the charm in order to persuade her that she needs to make time for him even though it means interfering with her extremely busy schedule of personal growth.
THE DRIVEN SNOWE is an amusing gender bender tale with the man desperately desiring more in their relationship while the woman is ready to move on to someone else. Josh is a warm, often bewildered male hunk wondering when and how he lost control of the remote. Though taking sex too lightly, Angela remains a delight as she plans a love them and leave them lifestyle even if she could easily fall in love with her first sex partner. Writer Cathy Yardley provides her audience with a lighthearted romantic romp that balances humor and heat, a difficult undertaking to achieve.
Harriet Klausner

    Steamy and highly recommended! Wheee!

When twenty-nine year old Angela Snowe thought she was going to die it was an eye opener! There was so much she wanted to do, but had never gotten around to. Angela decided to change that! The first thing she would do was lose her virginity! She chose a handsome man with the reputation of treating his women right, but never keeping them over a few weeks.

Josh Montgomery was a corporate tycoon who was too busy for relationships. But he was amazed when gorgeous Angela asked him to take her virginity and that he had to do it that very night! A woman had never shocked him before then. Turned out only to be the first time. She shocked him again by disappearing before morning with no good-bye. She never even gave him her last name or phone number. But after a night like the one he just had there was no way he was just carrying on as before. Josh went on a hunt for Angela!

Angela had never expected to see Josh again. Even though she now knew she was not going to die, she was still going to do all the things she had kept putting off. She was taking classes and planning a trip to Italy. Josh charmed her into accepting a proposition. They would see only each other for six months and then go their separate ways. No strings, no relationship, and no regrets. Angela agreed and purchased her ticket to Italy for the end of the six month time. However, the more Josh came to know Angela he realized even a life time would not be enough with her. But how would he change the mind of a woman who was still determined to walk away after the six months was over?

***** Be warned of a lot of sex. That is what the 'Blaze' series is about! For women, like me, that like their romance hot, but not porn. Author Cathy Yardley shows that she has an amazing talent of combining the perfect amount of steamy romance with a modern day plot that readers cannot help but be intrigued with! I sat down to read this the last few hours before bed and ended up reading the entire book before I could go to sleep! (Good thing I did not have to work the next day!) My advice is to purchase this book, begin it when you have an entire day free to indulge in your reading habit with no interruptions, order pizza, and then take the phone off the hook! Awesome story! *****

Reviewed by Detra Fitch
