The Drug Laws, By Susan Neiburg, is a fair assesment of the drug law situation facing our nation today. We are a torn country around pretty much every big issue, and drug laws are not an exeption. Susan Terkel approaches the drug law fight head on, coming from every angle analyzing the pros and cons. The main issue adressed in the book is medical marijuana. She takes the stories of many people with diseases such as aids, glaucoma, and chronic pain and shows that while other medicines were either addicting, not natural, or very harmful. Medical marijuana was the only feasable option for these patients, and she shows the life of these patients.
