Better than "Fifty Shades of Grey!" Go back to Holland during World War II in “The Dutch Muse,” an adult mystery based on medieval history in Europe. A middle aged amateur writer is about to give up. He meets a young woman who changes his life. He falls in love. He tries to woo her. He finally gets into her inner circle where a hidden treasure is discovered. Together they uncover that she possesses a family heirloom, disguised and hidden inside a common piece of furniture. They are both intrigued and then frightened when the woman’s grandmother is killed shortly after by a burglar, apparently. They begin to uncover more secrets and discover the treasure to be a priceless and ancient piece of art work by an old master. The finding of the art work and the grandmother’s death may not be coincidental. Together they come to fall in love as they embark on a European journey to find the answers and perhaps preserve other priceless artworks while saving their own family members who are now in danger.
