The Dynasty: Roc la Famila 2000by Jay-Z
On the heels of his lucrative Hard Knock Life tour with DMX, that tour's accompanying Backstage documentary film and soundtrack, and his multi-platinum Volume 3...The Life and Times of Sean Carter, Jay-Z continues his winning streak with The Dynasty: Roc La Familia 2000, an all-star collaboration that will keep the urban landscape bouncing to his club and radio-friendly beats. As always, Jay-Z, who is arguably New York's most loved MC, delivers a versatile mix of danceable tracks, such as the humorous lead single "I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)" and the catchy, Rocwilder-produced "Guilty Until Proven Innocent," which features R. Kelly. Jay spikes the entertaining mix with several rugged posse cuts, such as the angst-ridden "You, Me, Him and Her," which features Roc-a-Fella fam members Beanie Sigel, Amil, and Memphis Bleek. Other guest shots include Scarface on the xylophone-accented "This Can't Be Life" and Snoop on the gangster-tough "Get Your Mind Right Mami." Jay-Z also has his more reflective moments: The nostalgic "Soon You'll Understand" is a melodic musing on forbidden love, and "Where Have You Been," on which Beanie chimes in again, is a moving narrative about fatherless children. Mr. Carter never keeps his fans waiting long for new material, and The Dynasty puts his prolific tendencies to good use. Abby Addis

Jay Z got at least 12 good tracks on this album. I didn't think he still had another great album in him. Those who don't got, GET Now!!!!!!!!!!!
Jay-Z has done it again The Dynasty is his best yet and he has once again rpoved that Roc-A-fella is holding it down once again!
but its no where near the infamous mobb deep.thats his compotition rightnow and he's not elevatin himself as an artist.this cat talkin like he infamous, best start respectin the true infamous cats,Mobb Deep, other than that this is tight.
THERE HAS NEVER BEEN AN ARTIST WITH SUCH STREET INTELLECT AS JAY Z. HE IS A 1 IN A MILLION.
Consistency. Not too many hip hop artists can claim this as part of their arsenal. It is however the only to describe Jay-Z. This album is not quite the classic like the previous 2(it just came out though so that's bound to change). Yet Jigga continues to blur the lines between commercial(radio friendly beats) and street while recieving unlimited support from both sides with one key: Consistency. Others maybe doing it but Jigga has been doing it well for a while now. He also continues to ride with his fellow Rocafella fam never straying away just continuing to grow as a whole. Beans really shines on this as well. Songs like ''Streets is Talking'', and ''I Just Wanna Love U'' are typical Jay-Z. But he reaches a personal milestone with ''Soon You'll Understand'' and ''Where Have You Been'' where he speaks about growing up without a father. If anything else Jay-Z has proven not only is he one of hip hop's top lyricists but that there is more to him than just the jewels, the money and the fame. Listen.

THIS IS JAY-Z'S BEST CD ,IT HAS SO MANY CUTS THAT I CAN PLAY IT RIGHT THROUGH AND IT IS MY TYPE OF DRIVING MUSIC AND HOME CHILLIN' CD. USUALLY YOU BUY A CD IT ONLY HAS A COUPLE OF CUT'S BUT THIS IS ONE I WILL TELL ANYBODY THAT IT IS NICE.
