    Excellent Tarot Book

I have studied many tarot books. I bought Dusty's book and I loved it.

It is written in a way that is fun to read, very witty, and it feels like you are interacting with Dusty through the whole book. You can tell Dusty really loves sharing his passion and that he genuinely wants to help you learn tarot...not just sell books. One of the best things about the book is that it isn't just another standard definitions book (although he does provide some meanings for your study convenience). He really gets you working with the cards so you get to know them and understand them. And...as an added bonus...he has a website that he personally helps you with any questions you have...for FREE!!!!

It is the best tarot book I have bought and I would recommend it to anyone, novice or experienced.

A tarot-how-to that makes tarot reading accessible.

I bought this book over a month ago because I wanted a workbook of some kind to help me learn to read tarot cards. I'd been trying to learn off and on for a little while, but was having a hard time making headway with memorization of card meanings.

Dusty encourages students of tarot to use their intuition when reading the cards. The workbook is filled with exercises and worksheets that give you card definitions and space to fill in your own interpretations.
After 30 days I was able to sit down and do a reading for myself and my friends and family without reaching for a dictionary!

One of the great aspects of buying this book is gaining access to an on-line help website. Interacting with fellow students through exercises (many straight out of the book) will advance your understanding of the tarot deck even more.

Even if you're planning to buy other books, make sure this is included in your collection. If you're feeling challenged to learn with other books, start with The Easiest Way to Learn the Tarot - EVER!! Such a good book!

Unique: This book teaches you to READ the cards!!

I had a lot of books that said something like "learn to read tarot" but what they really did was give meanings for cards. It seems some people can learn to read this way but I couldn't seem to take those keywords and blend them into a reading. That skill is what this book teaches, in a series of well designed exercises that build on each other until you find yourself actually able to look at those cards and see a narrative. There are meanings in the back but looking at the cards and developing you intuition are encouraged. Still finding it hard to get started on you own? Not a problem-there's a free online forum where you can get help and talk with other students. I think tarot students at any level would learn from this book, but for those of us who have struggled for a while and don't do so well with the learn keywords approach, this is the book we've been looking for.

The *ONLY* Tarot book you will ever need!

I received this book a couple of days ago and there's only really one major problem with the book: I can't put it down! Here are a few of my observations.

The cover is simplistic, but tasteful and beautiful. It's actually much larger than I was expecting, as I was thinking it was a 6x9 book, so I was very pleasantly surprised! In fact, it's quite large, though I'm uncertain of the exact dimensions, I know it is bigger than 8.5x11. Anyway, the book itself is a workbook. It has colored sections on the side of the pages for quick reference, and this was SUCH a big help for me. If I needed to find a section on the fly, it was simple using the section markers. I have 75+ books on Tarot, buying interesting books on Tarot trying to find the right book that speaks to me & really SHOWS me HOW to read the cards. I can say out of all the books on Tarot that claim to be able to "teach" you how to read the Tarot, this book actually lives up to its word. No other book I've ever read on Tarot offers this teaching style and it really works for me! Dusty White, the author, goes an extra 5-miles and has 2 websites dedicated to helping people learn how to read the Tarot. Also, he has podcasts that are not only informative, but entertaining as well!

I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone interested in learning how to read The Tarot. The assistance & educational tools he offers on his FREE websites alongside the book are invaluable! If you are truly ready to learn how to read the Tarot, get this book. It's the ONLY book you will ever need to instruct you correctly and easily from the very start! I rate the book 10 stars (out of 5 stars lol). Get this book!!

A Lilac Wolf and Stuff Review

Yes, this really is the easiest way to learn the Tarot. This is basically a workbook that puts the power and responsibility in your own hands. There is information on the Tarot, along with recommendations for a beginning deck. I’m appreciative because the deck I have just isn’t working for me.

There are numerous exercises, spreads, and lots of instruction on each card in the deck. The first exercises are designed to get you looking at your cards, and Dusty White puts it on you to decode their meaning. What it means to you is what is important, because that will work more consistently than rote memorizing when doing readings in the future. I actually had to meditate on that for a few days before I understood it.

The first spread mentioned is “The Hardest Spread – EVER!!” This is easy to cast, but super-duper hard to interpret. It uses the entire deck, and requires time spent meditating on your question. But the spread? Just toss your cards up and see where they fall. I found it’s placement silly and in tune with Dusty’s sense of humor.

Which brings me to the other thing I enjoyed in this workbook, the humor Dusty brought in even as a teaching tool. I literally laughed a lot going through this, and I’m drawn to the instruction books that keep me awake, aren’t you?

This book is exactly what I was looking for in a Tarot Workbook. I truly look forward to going through this at a slower pace and really working through…everything! Thanks so much Dusty, this gets title of “Most Useful Yule Gift Ever!”

A must have for anyone who wants to learn the tarot

It's a workbook, not a bunch of meanings you have to memorize. You will need a pen, and some time to sit and read this thing. The focus is on developing your abilities as a reader, not to teach you keywords. Fortunately it comes with free online help.
