I am a long time subscriber of the print Economist. With many of my other print subscriptions I am able to get them also on my NOOK for free. The Economist does not include the NOOK subscription with the print version. I suggest they include it the way they do for iPad as that is not the only tablet out there. Just a thought!

Beware - the economist is 'not compatible' with Nook Simple Touch. When I bought my Nook I specifically asked if I could read the economist on my Nook - I was assured this would be possible. Now I am being told it is 'not compatible'. NOT HAPPY!

The Economist is simply the best weekly newspaper on the market. The articles are great, and the in-depth reports are even better. The nook color version is wonderful because I now get the publication when it is released. In the USA I would previously receive it up to four days (it is published on Thusdays, but subscription services for the print version do not concider it late until after 7 days). This is a problem as it is a news paper and getting it late makes is almost useless.

I can't recommend this enough. Unbiased, technically excellent. The world coverage lets me stay abreast of what's going on outside the US and the US coverage is nice because they're not all wrapped up in the politics. No fluff.

Because I am a print subscriber I can get free access to the digital version on my iPad, but I cannot get free access on the NOOK. I would buy the NOOK if this worked.

I have a subscription to this for now. I read a few articles that might actually be relvant with my Economics class. I needed to page through this publication and last week's issue was definitely worth devoting the time to.

I paid for the nook subscription, then it never appeared in my Nook library...after reading about the numerous problems with magazine purchases and the nook online, I'm done! Who has the time to spend hours figuring out what should be a simple process...Nook and B&N need to get it together...otherwise the IPAD revolution deserves to win, and I hate Apple!

I have been waiting for the economist to show up on the nook and I feel I am now on top of what the world is up to.

This magazine had alot of insightful concepts and projected a very positive scenario for many companies and countries. Unfortunately, it did not have what I was looking for at this time.

Reading this on a Nook is annoying. The formatting appears to be made for the iPad, and using 'Article View' is worthless as the whole point of using a Nook Tablet or Color is to enjoy the visual layout & design of a real magazine. Text-only editions are worthless.

People need to stop putting customer reviews for the economist on here, it is misleading. The Economist is great, the Economist {Nook Magazine} is not.
I'm not sure who's fault it is, but customers should not have to pay for 2 subscriptions - i.e. one for the print/digital and another for the Nook. Unless you only read the economist at home, or you carry your Nook everywhere, go with a normal Economist print/digital subscription - it is more versatile.

The magazine is not formated for the nook. I found it difficult to read without zooming in and this required scrolling around to see the whole page

The article view has been defective in the last two weeks. The spacing was non-existant and the letter f didn't appear.

Hands down, the best news mag. Problem is that I'll get issues where the Article View format is messed up. The text all runs together (no paragraph breaks or bold headers or graphics), and words with the letter 'f' are missing letters. This has happened for the past two weeks, so I think it's time to cancel, with many regrets.

This item isn't viewable on my Nook or my Samsung Galaxy III phone. You would think B&N could tell me that before I subscribed.
