Overview

I was black and blue all of my childhood. Not from the games I played or accidentally falling down. I was physically abused by everyone in my family. Verbally downgraded every day by at least one family member from the time I reached the delicate age of seven and sexually abused from the time I turned nine. I grew up hating adults, this meant school teachers, police or anyone trying to tell me what to do. I hated school. I was picked on every day. I became an alcoholic at 13 giving away sex for alcohol. I was put in to the juvenile "system" when I was 13 years old, marking me as a "juvenile delinquent." I was sent away when I was 14, and by this time I was "uncontrollable." I was skipping school as often as I could. Ever since I was released from the system I have devoted my life to helping others. I mainly wrote this book because I have tried for many years to write a book on my life, again trying to help other children to speak out about their abuse. I was going to school with bloody lips, black eyes, you name it. There were never any questions as to where or how I received the abuse.
