I got this book as an early Christmas gift because I remember a lot of my dreams, but had no clue what they meant. Not only have I looked up the meanings of my old dreams, but the info is interesting enough to read as a book, part by part. And it isn't just an a-z alphabetical listing of words. There are sections of dream symbols... such as bad deeds, animals, shapes, etc. Sprinkled in are facts about dreams & dreaming. This would made an incredible gift, and I know I'll have mine for as long as it will hold up.

Wow! What a fantastic resource. I'm using the encyclopedia to interpret my dreams every night but I'm also reading it like a book chapter by chapter and am learning so much about the incredible world of dreams. I shall treasure this book for many, many years to come.

This book is good to have in the library at your disposal of when you might have a dream that is unexplained. It can give you direction. This is also entertaining when someone comes over and picks it up to see if they can find anything they dreamt about. It is good for conversation.

I found the book a year or so ago, and thought this will be good for boredom. But I started reading it and fell in love with it. I refer to it for most things now. If you have interest in dreaming, or even symbolism, then this book is for you! I plan on getting the rest of this series very soon...

Love this book - concise, easy-to-read sections are clear without a lot of psycho-babble. The 17-page index makes it easy to find specific dreams.

At first glance, after seeing this book, I thought to myself 'surely that must cost at least 40 dollars'. But, I was wrong. It was and IS half the price I thought it would be, and it's not some puny book that looks bigger in the picture than in reality. Anyone interested in dreams SHOULD HAVE THIS!
