Overview

Journey back to a special Lawson Vampire assignment that takes place before THE FIXER and pairs Lawson with his old mentor Zero...

MEET LAWSON.

A cynical, wise-cracking vampire charged with protecting the Balance - the secret existence of a race of LIVING vampires that have evolved alongside humanity for thousands of years.

A FIXER.

Part-spy, and part-commando -- James Bond with fangs. Lawson mixes shrewd cunning with unmatched lethality to get his job done. He tries his best to dismantle conspiracies, dispatch bad guys, and live long enough to get home.

ZERO

Lawson's mentor and one of the premier Fixers in the entire Service. A man of principal and integrity, but not without his vulnerabilities.

HJELM

Once one of the best Fixers around, he was assigned to infiltrate Hitler's inner cordon but ended up with conflicted allegiances. Now, he's been sanctioned by the Council...

ESMERALDA

An Enchanter of untold power, able to wield sorcery at will, but with secrets all her own.

THE MADAGASCAR PLAN

A nefarious scheme to ship the Jews out of Hitler's Fortress Europe and send them to Madagascar for mass extermination...it failed once before, but could it happen again?

In the late 1970s, Lawson and Zero journeyed to Madagascar to terminate a Fixer gone bad. But a simple sanction soon turns into a race to save their own skin - and the lives of everyone in the country. Don't miss this exciting pre-Fixer novel of approximately 81,000 words.

    you gotta read this

I'm a big Lawson vampire fan. It's like reading an old time detective radio and watching Angel only Angel doesn't drink. Anyways, you gotta read this book. I like its rough sense of humor and the action.

    Tedious and Annnoying

I couldn't even finish it. The editing was awful: misspelled and missing words, words that were wrong in the context.
