    Still Valid Information

With a title like this, Madrick probably isn't selling too many books. However, the fundamental analysis is accurate. He gives some history and statistics of U.S. growth and how it was sustained until 1973. After 1973, he shows how GDP and productivity growth has fallen drastically. If you want to understand The New Economy, this is an excellent book. The only problem with his analysis is his Orthodox or Neoclassical economic foundations of 'savings.'
