Remove your energetic blockages now! Your beliefs can change.

Bender and Sise combine the physiology and psychology of healing using simple, helpful techniques. These techniques will help the novice who is just stepping into bio energetics, as well as practitioners of EFT, TFT, acupuncture, massage and light work. Holistic care embraces energy healing and sees it as growing form of therapy. Why wait for western medicine when you can be taught techniques and applications that help. An increased number of professionals are now seeing the value of energy work. Self help is a billion dollar industry. More psychologists are embracing the natural healing powers of the body and the mind. This book gives you concrete ways to heal many issues. If compulsive thoughts consume you, this is a good book to start with. We sometimes don't realize what a "funk" we are in until we look from outside in. this book uses an energy method called "TAB." Touch and breathe-it is that simple. The chapters introduce how thoughts get trapped in our mind field. It acquaints you with how TAB helps. The authors do a great job of giving you step by step instructions with photos as a guide to help rid yourself of negativity and compulsions that are holding you back. I enjoyed that they discussed the impact of core beliefs and how you can have healthier beliefs. It is possible to create the life you want. Energy follows thought!
Creating inner peace and harmony is only the start for allowing the world to heal, one person at a time.
These authors have vision, and compassion to teach and share, and easily communicate ways to help you polish your self awareness. The self awareness test discusses safety, deservedness, blocking beliefs, unknowing beliefs as well as relationships with all of theses.
This book bridges the gap between the ambiguity of energy work and science. It allows you to create positive intentions by releasing those thoughts that hold you back. Intuition is the art of knowing- a concept many people are unsure of. The authors show you how to achieve this.
The book is filled with case stories, techniques, and concepts you will enjoy learning about and using. It will help advance your self help awareness if you are already experienced in this, by creating more focus. Lots of good ideas here. I enjoyed it.
I received a complimentary review copy.

    Releasing Blocking Beleifs

This is a wonderful book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It should be read by everyone interested in the process of understanding and changing limiting beliefs. It should be read by everyone interested in energy psychology, a new frontier of healing. It should be read by therapists and counselors, as well as the general public, because it presents important techniques that add to the traditional knowledge base of psychotherapy and counseling. And it presents important techniques that the public can understand and learn. This book imparts important knowledge. And it does so in a well written, highly readable, and well illustrated format. The techniques presented are sophisticated, complex, and well researched. Yet the examples, the illustrations and the clear writing make the techniques come to life. The book is well organized. Charts, such as those on the different types of blocking beliefs, help the reader to organize and understand large amounts of information. Self tests throughout the book help the reader understand and check his/her progress and knowledge. The authors have a vast clinical experience, and case examples enhance the reading. The book is rich with information and technique. The beginning chapters of the book help inform the reader about the past research and knowledge base for the work that is to come. For example, the authors point out that the brain can create new pathways, and thus the stage is set for the importance of understanding the power of thoughts and beliefs, and for being able to change limiting beliefs through energy pathways. The concept of the mind is important, and ¿mind¿ is more than the brain. The authors discuss research showing the strong electromagnetic field that connects the heart to the brain. The Touch and Breathe techniques use the energy pathways of the body originally identified in acupuncture. The Touch and Breathe techniques help the reader to learn in a mindful way to treat negative beliefs and energy disruptions. This is a book that should not be missed.

Touch And Breathe for Emotional Healing

The Energy of Belief is that rare combination of profoundly important ideas imbedded in a clear step-by-step self-help modality. Sheila Sidney Bender and Mary T. Sise have combined their considerable expertise as psychotherapists and pioneers in the emerging field of energy psychology to create this gem of a book. They have provided well reasoned theoretical explanations with extremely effective strategies for helping readers to examine and change their self-defeating beliefs and behaviors. Using the innovative Touch and Breathe 'TAB' technique originated by the BDB Group, Bender and Sise gently guide readers through a personal journey of discovery and healing as they explain exciting new strategies for dealing with difficult personal issues. Of particular importance is their teaching how to access the mind/body/energy connection using self muscle testing. This, combined with a basic understanding of the acupuncture meridian system and some basic tenets of clinical psychology, has the potential to empower the reader in ways that have not been made available to the general public in such a lucid and concise format. The well conceived illustrations are invaluable in helping readers achieve the goals of gently and mindfully addressing painful areas of their lives. I highly recommend this wonderful new book to both the clinical and general public.
