    has made my life richer

Someone gave me this book many years ago. I have dipped into it over the years, and over the years it has grown on me until I felt a need to write Stephen Mitchell fan mail. He has made a careful selection of short poems and excerpts of poems that make us more aware of the treasure of life, from so many different perspectives. Thank you Stephen Mitchell for your work.
