Great Set of Books - just not for infants

I actually purchased this set for my baby (thinking they were board books), but they are small hardbacks. The stories are too long for a baby, too, but perfect for a preschooler. The stories in this set are really neat and my 4 1/2 year old loves them. I can see him loving them for a while, too. It's a great gift set for 3 - 6 year olds.

    Great gift set to have!

This Mini Library is a great addition to any collection of books! The font is too small for a child to read or follow along with (and the pages are delicate - they are not board books), but they make great read alouds and Eric Carle's bright, bold illustrations are able to capture a youngster's attention.

    more from this reviewer

    I love this set!

The Eric Carle mini library is a wonderful addition to my daughter's bookcase and any fans of Eric Carle should check this collection out. It's so cute and made with the same high quality you can expect from all of Carle's books. It also includes some of the lesser known books so you don't have to worry about accidentally having two copies of The Very Hungry Caterpillar for example. Also, the books are small, but they're not too small like some mini children's books. I'd definitely recommend this set!
