First off I have to state that I have never read anything pertaining to Buddhism. I have to say that this book was very informative. I enjoyed the illustrations as well as the basic history of Buddhism. I discovered, while reading this book, that Buddhism is unbelieveably similar to a belief known as Voluntary Simplicity. Very enlightening and easy to apply to ones' lifestyle-
