    A decent introduction

This is a slim book but it doesn't really try for much. It's a good run down of the basics of Buddhism and gives the reader some basic understanding of that system of thought.

    Good primer but

The meditation of the third eye is to esotric for most lay people better to focus on the heart the truer seat of deep emotions. Read ram dass instead.
