Overview

Since the first day Titania was born, she looked completely different. Everything about her seemed outlandish. Her parents, Breandan and Emily, knew she was not just another child and yet they didn’t know what she was. When Breandan revealed his family secret to Emily, his heritage was too heavy for her to carry. A fortune teller's prophecy led her actions. She had to take Tita far away from the land of her ancestors, to help her escape her destiny. She loved Breandan and she always would, but she loved her daughter more. They left Breandan and Ireland to go back to Emily’s homeland.
Titania grew up in Greece but she never fitted well among the rest of the kids. She felt different. The first time she went to visit her dad, she knew this was her place. She fell in love with Ireland. There she met her first and only true friend. Kellan was an irish boy with extraordinary attributes. She didn't know it yet but he would be one of her mates to eternity. Years passed and Titania visited her dad more and more often. She felt a strong connection for the island. When her dad asked her to celebrate her 18th birthday there everything seemed ideal but her whole world was about to change.
Then Kellan tells her he is in love with her and although she is flattered, deep inside she knows he is not the one for her. He is gorgeous, smart and kind but not her true soul mate. It's the night she turns into a woman that Dubhghall appears to her for the first time. He has spent all his immortal life waiting for his lady; She is his lady. She cannot resist him. He is ridiculously handsome, mysterious and completely dark. She falls head over heels in love with him. The truth is that he makes her feel good, normal and safe. He is the one she has been waiting for all her life; her soul mate and she knows he is not human.
Then she starts noticing changes on her, a whole new world is opening up. She becomes beautiful and stronger; she can read other people’s minds and feel their feelings. She connects to earth and gain strength. Dubhghall is always by her side. Her father is also here for her. It is time he explains the past of his ancestors and the story of him and Emily. When she finds out she is an immortal she is shocked. She cannot believe she is a fairy, not to mention a queen! This new life fits her though. She is in love and everything seems perfect.
In the meantime Kellan has also changed. Alicia, his ex and future wannabe girlfriend, has turned him to a vampire. Alicia's family is one of the most ancient and important vampire families and Kellan has been chosen to join them because of his extraordinary skills. Kellan struggles with this new life and alienates from Tita.
Just when Tita thinks that life cannot get any more complicated the goddess sends her another protector. Elijah comes in her life with a package. His reputation claims he has never lost any woman he craved for and dubhghall get jealous. Tita really can't understand why she needs two protectors but fate has other plans. a secret war is fomented and Tita is the one to prevent it. Immortals prepare their revolution. The High Council of Immortality follows her closely ever since she changed. They want to get her out of the way and they decide to use the only powerful tool they have. They kidnap her mum and threaten to kill her, if Titania does not surrender her keeper, the most important gift the goddess grants to her immortals. A diamond shaped bottle that carries their essence to eternity. In her quest to get her mother back Tita is not alone. Her dad, her protectors and her friends will support her. Will they manage to save her mum? Will all of them make it through? Tita will lose more than she could ever imagine. Who will be there for her?

    Mediocre

When I first started reading this book, I thought the plot was very interesting. As I got further in, the lack of editing was very obvious. Some parts read as if it had been written by someone with English as their second language. The story also has some elememts which make me believe it was written by a high school aged person. It reminds me too much of the twilight series in dialogue, story elements, character behavior, etc. The only reason I kept reading was to see how it would end .... and then it doesn't. All that only to be left with a cliffhanger.

    Preety good

Well, the story line is very good. But, it is hard to follow and understand at times. Plus, there are many characters and I got confused at times... and, I do not like the fact that the characters could read each others minds... But, on the more possitive side, other than the supernatural aspecks of the story, it is quite relatable... Over all, it is a very good story, about six hundred or so pages. I will be purchasing the second book!

    Good story

I can't help but wonder if this was written by someone using auto correct (cabinet instead of cabin)... The story was very good but there were many errors in spelling and grammer at times it was a struggle to read through the mistakes, however the story was to intriguing to give up on. I also wish the author didn't use so many abreviations, initals instead of names and common text short hand in the conversations between characters ( CU instead of see you). However I will read the second when it becomes available. With some thourough editing this good book has the potential to be the beginning of a great series:)

    Ok

Interesting world , with fun characters. I found the story even though Good length at over 600 pages. Tita is whiny at times and the grammar was off a bit, made me wonder how old the author actually was but i'll probably read the sequal when it comes out.
