Finally, the eagerly awaited book is here! And what a gift it is! To me this book is a gentle, yet persistent reminder that wellness and self-healing are ever such timely concepts and definitely here to stay. Clearly written, it is 'multifunctional' in being informative and factual about current trends in medicine and health care as well as in presenting alternative possibilities, and the pros and cons of all of the above. Examples and exercises follow. They address so many of life's challenges. They will speak to just about everybody in one way or another. I have already successfully consulted the latter, especially the 'letting go' department of my life and drawn strength from other people's experiences described here.This book will become a best friend to serve as a daily guide in our pursuit of health and happiness! It will be read many times over, wholly or in part. Congratulations, Petrene! I will treasure this true masterwork! You have shown us how to re-claim our inherent power for mastery in all areas of our life. The world will be a better place.
I have cleaned my self-healing 'library' out and replaced it with this book. This is with a doubt the best self-healing book on the market. It is clearly written with ideas and techniques that truly work. Since I started doing the exercises, I feel like I am finally in control of my health and my life. I needed to change so many aspects of my life, that I didn't know where to begin. My health wasn't the greatest, I wasn't a happy person and I desperately wanted to make my life better. I realize now, after getting this book, and using the easy to follow techniques that I can change anything I want to, and I can do it myself. I can change my entire life with the information found in this book.
ABSOLUTELY healing can be that simple! Petrene shows how to heal not only the body but also the soul using simple non-evasive techniques. Yet her book is so much more than a self-healing book. It explains why how and what we think about, determines what we create in our lives. This book can be used to find happiness in many more areas of you life other than health such as career, finances, relationships, spirituality etc. A must read.

The client histories clearly demonstrate some of the ways we sabatoge ourselves and how we can return Balance and Focus to our lives through 'letting go' of our 'dis-ease' thought patterns. I have read a pre-publication copy of this book and it is the best book of it's kind that i have read. Petrene Soames uses her unique insights to give a fresh, fun, invigorating and empowering slant to self healing. It is a book that contains much wisdom, knowledge and experience and it leaves you feeling and being more in control and in charge of your life than before you read it. This book could serve as an index of the therapies and exercises that are available for self-healing but it is also so much more than that. It is a book written from the perspective of one who knows and as such each therapy or exercise talked about is explained in detail and the reasons why it works etc are gone into so that you know why you are doing something, something which gives you a great feeling empowerment. There are also many exercises and concepts and perspectives that you wont necessarily find anywhere else. Apart from being about self healing- the book contains many exercises that are simple to understand and use - this book is about life itself and how anyone can make their life fuller and more complete and joyful. I found the wisdom contained in this deceptively simple title and book to be trully of the essence and as such an integral and essential part of a healthy, happy life. I have read many other spiritual, self help and psychology books and i can recommend this one without any qualms whatsoever.
I found this book to be both informative and very easy to understand, Petrene soames style of writing was very to the point and easy to comprehend, it made so much sense to go within ourselfs to find the route of our illness than running to the doctor with every little ache and pain we feel, I believe we all have the ablity to understand our own illness if we take the time to listen to our bodies.It takes only a few seconds a day to find a quite place to sit and check in with ourselves to see what is going on with us. This book was interesting from begining to end, I highly recomend it.
