This book has excellent application and keeps pragmatic concerns in mind all the time. There is an excellent word-for-word index at the end of the book. Used with Hariharananda Aranya it gives you a glimpse into Pantanjali's system and the Samkhya system. There is really nothing like it for translations into English from Sanskrit, even though in this case it was done through the author's French translation of the Sanscrit and then put into English. It's a beautifully thought out book.
