    Eases the learning curve

Blender is a powerful piece of software. It does amazing things but with a steep learning curve. This book is essential to get over that steep curve. There are a ton of tutorials online about using blender. Most of them will not be useful without the basics of the program. This book covers those and does it perfectly. I found blender and picked this book up. I soon was addicted to using blender. I just finished the book and am now revisting my first clay and hand drawn animations to reanimate them using blender and 3d.
I wish i would have found Blender about 20 years ago.

    Excellent introduction for immersion.

No other program offers a more advanced 3D software application than Blender. 'The Essential Blender' immerses the reader in the 3D world, explaining everything one needs to know to start 'Blending'. Currently 1/2 through the book myself, I can hardly put it down as each page surpasses the last in artistic design and application.
