Overview

These days, cats are among the most popular pet you can own. There are several breeds available, with the most popular being Persian and Siamese. Cats are a domesticated animal, with origins dating back some 8,000 years and beyond. Like any other pet that you may own, including dogs, cats cost money to take care of properly.

    Dapplefeather

Dapplefeather padded to the edge of the border and sniffed for any other Clan activity past the scent line. She smelled nothing except for the faint scent of another cat, though the cat was probably there for just a second or two. "It's probably nothing," she muttered. She remarked the border and padded back to camp.

    Cloudbeauty ~ poems

Poem that my ex wrote to me when we were still dating ~
True Love

    There once was a boy
Just a poor wayfaring stranger
That when he came across a beautiful girl
It sent his life in a whirl
And when they began to talk
Every goodbye was a cliffhanger
Then one day, he asked on one knee
"Will you go with me?"
She had an anxious reply of definitly
And to this day, his heart still cries out lovingly
Im glad you came

Poem i wrote immediatley after our break-up ~
Love Lies

    There once was a girl
Who had a full loving heart
And when she learned the truth of you
It tore her apart
And as she thought about it more
And she realized you had to go
Then one day as she said goodbye
Tears lingered in her eyes
And he unfolded the note
Telling the truth of his lies
And as she sits in the car
And a song starts to play
She tries to quiet her heart
Because its "I'm Glad You Came"

Btw ~ im glad you came was the song he serenaded me with to ask me out

    Amberspirit's Story (Please Give Feedback!)

(This is Amberspirit's history, told in story form. Please give me feedback on my writing! Thanks!) Amberkit yawned. It was chilly that morning, and the cold wind nipped at her ears and nose. She shivered and pressed closer to her mother, Shimmerbreeze, who was able to sleep through the cold because of her thick fur. Lightningkit, Amberkit's brother, stirred and lazily blinked open one eye, before jumping up and fluffling out his golden pelt. He looked outside the small cave they lived in, where freezing flakes of snow rained from the sky. He poked Amberkit. "Look! It's snowing!" he meowed. Amberkit rolled onto her paws. "I know," she grumbled. "Go away." Lightningkit shoved her with a paw. "I can't! You're stuck with me!" Amberkit shook her head in exasperation and curled into a fluffy ball of auburn fur. She covered her nose, pink with cold, with her tail and blinked up at their father, Goldenstorm, who was guarding the entrance to their cave. "Goldenstorm is a BloodClan warrior," Shimmerbreeze had said. "He fought off evil cats."
•••A few moons later•••
Amberpaw spotted a mouse nibbling on a nut. She lowered herself into a crouch, keeping her tail flat and slightly raised above the ground, just like she was taught. She slowly creeped up the mouse, who continued eating his nut. Once Amberpaw was close enough, she sprang, sinking her teeth into the mouse's spine with a crack. Satisfied, she sat up and began eating. It tasted delicious, like meat and new-leaf. Amberpaw finished it with a huge bite and buried its bones, then started off to the cave. She passed some birds, but was full already so she didn't bother to hunt them. Amberpaw stopped in front of the cave when she heard raised voices. Goldenstorm and Shimmerbreeze were fighting. "But, they never fight," Amberpaw thought, worried. She backed away from the cave entrance just in time. Shimmerbreeze and Goldenstripe came stalking out, heading for the stream. Amberpaw wished that Lightningkit were still alive, so they could discuss this strange behaviour, but he died from the cold a few moons earlier. She padded into the cave and waited for her parents to return. Only one did. And her paws were stained with blood.
•••
Amberpaw was hidden as far away as she dared, having quickly figured out what had happened. She watched her former home carefully most days, but Shimmerbreeze seemed to be gone, so she finally summoned the courage to go to the cave. Sure enough, Shimmerbreeze's scent was stale. Anger filled Amberpaw. "How dare she leave like this!" she fumed. She stalked out in fury, vowing not to rest until Shimmerbreeze was found. Amberpaw tracked her elusive mother to HorseClan, but was disappointed when she saw that Shimmerbreeze was no longer there. She lay in wait for a few days, but it soon became clear that Shimmerbreeze was not coming back. Amberpaw was wrong. Shimmerbreeze did return. Her usually gleaming white pelt was tattered and torn, and blood oozed from a long scratch along her side. Her blue eyes were dark with fury as they gazed at Amberpaw. "You!" Shimmerbreeze growled. "You imposter! You will never be my daughter!" With that, she flung herself at Amberpaw, claws outstretched. Amberpaw was frozen is shock as her mother's claws pierced her skin, digging deep. It felt like her very bones were on fire. Amberpaw screeched and flung her mother off. Rage darkened her eyes, and she stabbed her claws into Shimmerbreeze's throat.

I would like to be a good poet,
And they don't (but I know) that I know it.
