As the primary sources of intelligence collection for Project Delta, these tough and tenacious recon men recount hair-raising adventures from personal recollections."The Ether Zone" is certain to appeal to those with an interest in Special Operations Group, the Vietnam War, special operations and military history in general.

Editorial Reviews

Library Journal

Here are combat stories of a small unit that specialized in behind-the-lines operations with intense danger. Based on interviews with unit veterans who commissioned Morris to write this book, it covers the high casualties, great friendships, and intimate details of life in combat far away. For those seeking more books on soldiers' experiences of this war.

    The Ether Zone

I just finished a reading a recently released book. The Ether Zone, U.S. Special Forces Detachment B-52, Project Delta. Folks this is a great book. Chapter 9 covers the January 1966, Battle Incident involving Greenville, Hunt, Texas native Sgt. Cecil Joe Hodgson (mia). Many of us who grew up in Greenville, Texas throug...h out the 1960s, 70s and 80s went to Church and School with the Hodgson Family Nelda, Crystie, Eddie (deceased 1998), Donnie and Katrina. The classified Missions involving Project Delta were not declassified until 1996.
