    Underwhelmed....

I really enjoyed this entire series, so was very excited when this conclusion book was finally released. I am however, completely disappointed with the ending!

The story started off great, picked up right where we left off with the previous one. I loved all of the plot twists that played out. It was going along just like the other books and I was hooked. But then came the ending. It felt incredibly forced, like someone was trying to beat a deadline or was just too tired/bored with writing this story. Once the 'final move' was decided, it took what felt like two pages to wrap it up with a tidy, sitcom-esque bow.

When I would finish reading the other books I was happy with the overall story and excited for the next. When I finished this one, my first thought was "hmph, that's it?!?" In my opinion it was definitely a huge let down considering the suspense and excitement of the rest of the series. Am I glad I read it? Yes, I wanted to finish the series. But, had the very first book been like this, I never would have read the second.

    The End?

So I just finished The Evanescence and I'm a little let down...don't get me wrong I love Jessica Sorensen LOVE her writing! This book however was just ok for me. I loved this series and was patiently waiting for the *tear* last book but it left me with really no closure. I mean it ended yes but it seemed like the book went way to fast and everything was easy and maybe just thrown all together? IDK.... All in all it was an ok ending to a great series just left me wanting more and a little confused. Can't wait to read more of her stuff!

Just trying to wrap it all up

While the momentum in each book of this series slowed, this last booked came to a screeching halt. It felt like she was tired of writing them and wanted to wrap things up nice and tidy. The adult version "Shattered Promises" of "Fallen Star" series seems a bit more promising.

    Ending

I liked the book but i feel like it was really rushed, like it was just written to quickly tie off the series. Of course i still love the characters but i wasn't really a fan of ending

    Okay

Loved the series liked the ending but its like it was rushed only around 150 pages and she just did a quicky ending to this series... im also in the middle of 4 different series by jessica sorenson dont you usually finish a series before starting another one?? This is the only series you have finished and if this is how you finish them that sucks... oh and by the way stop rewriting books its annoying!!!!

    Dissapointed

I like many of you fell completely in love with the series but to end the series the way it did was a huge let down. I could tell it was rushed and i agree with other comments that it was forced. Just feels like not as much heart was put into this final book as the others. Jessica is very talented but its a shame that this book felt so different than the other books.

    Very good book!

I felt that the book was rushed and there were not any problems for Gemma. Everything kind of feel into place for her. The ending was too simple but i did enjoy the epilouge. I am really upset it is the last book to the series because it was amazing and im not ready for it to end. Other than that the book was good!

    :(

I loved the series and was really excited for this book to come out. I thought it was awesome and stayed up really late to finish it. Then when I read the ending, I couldn't believe it! They still could have found a way to fix everything! Also, it never really explained if Evan was still an Omnia or not... his name is Evan, right? Anyway, I did not like the ending. I was expecting something better. I feel like there should be another book to explain everything.... So, for me, this book, the final book of the Fallen Star series, left me unsatisfied.

I love this book, all of them but to actually read a book that put an end to a life of suffering and misery and bring true love and friendship together...feels good! I will miss them though and hope that jessica could release something about their new life.
