Meet the Author

Julie Reilly was born in 1972 and has managed to cling onto life, if not sanity, since then.

Her first story, about a Martian visiting Earth to buy a present for his wife, was written at the age of six at school when she was supposed to be doing something else.

Her love of writing is only slightly surpassed by her love of music, and she trained and qualified as a Music teacher at what was then Roehampton Institute in London (now Roehampton University). But the stories inside her head couldn't be suppressed and in 2007 she finally finished her first novel.

She is married with two children and two cats and lives in Blackpool.
