One important aspect covered within the chapters, is the fact that "cortisol supplementation" can be extremely valuable under the proper conditions and when administered by a qualified physician. If the treatment is not properly administered, "adrenal suppression" can result and other possible severe side-effects. There is not an anti-cortisol message in this eeBook -- it is simply pointed-out that steroid cortisol treatment must be properly overseen and monitored when it becomes necessary. Natural methods for raising low cortisol levels in the body are suggested as a first-line trial to correct Adrenal Fatigue but the benefits of steroid cortisol are also given consideration within the chapters, for those who are found to be in need it (i.e. for severe adrenal exhaustion and Addison's disease).

It was the author’s intention, to provide a complete source of information in easy-to-understand terms, so that both the novice reader and medical professional can benefit from the information contained in this ebook. Those who suffer Adrenal Fatigue conditions can find help and possible full recovery through the information provided in the chapters.

Meet the Author

I am a husband, father, grandfather and lifetime contract salesman, with experience in health writing that began in 2004. I formerly served as editor and forum moderator for a major multi-topic content site and as a general health writer for another, where I received Editor's Choice Awards for my articles on health subjects.

In 2003 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism; "Hashimoto's thyroiditis" being the cause. This autoimmune form of thyroid disease that causes destruction of the thyroid gland resulted in my also developing "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome", due to a compromised immune system with severe co-morbid "Adrenal Fatigue". I also suffered severe anxiety symptoms, including panic attacks early into the onset of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (Hashitoxicosis). A common heart murmur I was diagnosed with in my teens called "Mitral Valve Prolapse", also worsened in severity of symptoms, with the development of these other health disorders.

My eventual receiving of diagnoses was a difficult process with proper diagnostic testing not being ordered by the first doctors I sought treatment from. These types of issues were inspiration for me to become proactive in my own health care and to self-educate myself on these health disorders, which I have done extensively since 2003. I now enjoy sharing this information with other patients experiencing my same health disorders.

    must read

    Everything adrenal.
I am hooked. James is an excellent researcher of symptoms, causes and treatments. I read other books from him, and I will read many more because the information in his books is well organized and it is easy to read and understand. This book not only his experience as a patient, but it includes tips for what tests to ask your doctor to perform, traditional and alternative treatments as well as stress reduction. Being an Alternative Medicine practitioner I like that he points out herbal treatments - such as Licorice root that helps the body to produce cortisol - along with synthetic medications. This book is really a comprehensive guide to everything adrenal.

Save your money for something else! I was extremely disappointe

Save your money for something else! I was extremely disappointed in this. It was very hard to follow, repetitious, and a waste of time and money. After several attempts to wade through the boring text and bad punctuation, I finally decided I had made a huge mistake by trying to save money by purchasing this instead of one of the other ones that I have recommended (that I have since purchased and read). I got more interesting and complete information off a couple websites than I did this ebook.

    The information I hoped for!

When I was able to get an ebook of this title I was pleasantly surprized to find that it had the information I was needing. My questions about the adrenal fatigue had to do with how it affects me hormonally and how I can affect improvement in it without having to resort to medication or suppliments with powerful ingedients that might alter other hormones in my body. I now know which treatments are safe if I become in need of them but I'm also exited to know that some adjustments in my life can help with this condition. I had adrenal hormones tests done by a saliva method I bought at our pharmacy and my adrenals showed to be way out of balance. This answered the mystery to why I have suffered fatigue and serious stress for many years and my regular doctor could not find the reason even with testing me for everything under the sun. he said my sex hormones were okay but I wasn't given any adrenal tests until I found that my pharmacy carries them. This ebook gives me hope and a plan to follow. It was very interesting to read with lots of length and easy to understand and I'm giving it 5 stars.
