Meet the Author

Martin Kelly is the About.com guide for American History and the author of the SparkNotes study note cards for the A.P. American History review. He taught social studies courses for nine years, supervised the development of online courses, and is currently supervising teachers with the Florida Virtual School.

Melissa Kelly is the author of The Everything New Teacher Book and the About.com guide to Secondary School Educators. She taught social studies for nine years, including AP U.S. History courses.

    Great Book to learn about the presidents!

    This book is really good if you want to know about the men that have run our country! They don't go into soooo much detail that it bogs it down! You learn many things that you didn't in school! Great book!

    Read if you get a chance

    Have read so much on the history of the men that have held the title and office of President, so was not expecting anything new. Still like to read about these historical characters. Simple read. Good for a extra credit in school and do an overall summary report.
