    Excellent book with delicious recipes.

I love this book. The author manages to take delicious party foods and make them nutritious without losing any taste. The Barley and Black Bean Enchiladas are to die for. And my kids really enjoy the Hazelnut-Stuffed Chicken Breasts. I've made many recipes from the book and haven't come across a bad one yet.

    Great Ideas!

Healthy good food to share with friends. Living in an area where there are a lot of vegetarians, I especially like the vegetarian section.

    Healthy?

I'm not sure I'd call these healthy. Most of the recipies I saw had percent calories from fat between 30 - 40% some as high as 66%. Maybe the format is supposed to distract you from this??

    Formatting is different

The recipes list the dish then how to cook or prepare the dish then the nutritional value then ingredients. This is not the way it is done usually but if you adjust your thinking it should be fine.

    Its ok but confusing.

I agree with other poster. Formatting is off. But I think it goes title of recipe, nutritional info, then instructions, and finally ingredients. I dont know why the book was done this way. I guess we're just used to reading recipes different.

Interesting if you can follow the format

The formatting is very poor in this book. It's a toss-up as to whether you are looking at the ingredients that go with a recipe. It's often hard to tell since the order is Yield-nutrition-ingredients-recipe title-instructions in some areas; but changes to Recipe title-instructions-yield-nutrition-ingredients in others. Good luck figuring it out.
