    Great Variety Of Recipes!

I am a "Newbie" to pressure cooking. Just got an electric unit, and wanted to try as many different dishes as possible. This book is allowing me to do just that. I can make every kind of dish from apps, to soups(shich are my faves!) to desserts! PLEASE understand that cook times do NOT include the build-up of pressure time! Man, so many people gave cookers bad reviews for time issues, not realizing that simple thing! You do have to add build-up,cook, and release-time into your cooking time, so don't think this is a genie in your kitchen...these recipes WILL make yummy, much quicker than not, dinners than most other methods. Well, maybe the old standard PB&J, but c'mon, would you rather that, or some steaming hot chili? YUM!

Amazing, will replace other 3 cookbooks I have for pressure cooking. Love the recipes, easy things that I can find in my little country store.

I have had my pressure cooker for over three years, this finally addresses the programmable type of cooker. This is something that I can recommend to family & friends as a true & easy cookbook for all skill levels of cooking. Thank you for your talent in bringing all those wonderful recipes. I live in a small town & appreciate the ingredients that I can find in my local store. You have a winner.

    Advanced Pressure Cooking in Detail

I got this book after purchasing my first pressure cooker and testing most of the basic recipes provided by the manufacturer. This book is written with the assumption the cook has some basic knowledge and experience with a pressure cooker. The recipes provided are a step above those I have already tried. Most of the recipes take an approach of providing an entire meal right out of the pressure cooker in a fashion similar to cooking with a crock pot. The only reason I do not give five stars is for the index. The index is adequate but it could be cross referenced better than it is.

Good Book To Have On Your Shelf

This book gives lots of suggestions and takes away the fear of using a pressure cooker. In general I like the book except for the Index. It only gives page numbers under a general category. Good recipes and ideas. I like the charts for the cooking times of different foods.

This is the one you want!

I wanted a cookbook on my nook because I travel to family members and didn't want to carry a cookbook. I thought the Nook would be ideal. There were only 7 selections and I sampled them all before buying a book. This is the only book with a recipe to read, some samples had no more information then what was available on the Barnes and Noble website. A few books at least featured an index. I ordered this book and it has 185 pages with recipes in many categories. This is a nice addition to any pressure cooker cook books.

When I was trying to find the chicken recipes I notices several

When I was trying to find the chicken recipes I notices several printing errors.
The recipes are average. Nothing I couldn't have found for free on the internet. If I could,
could, I would return this book. It was a too expensive for what I got.
